We are a support group available throughout the Hauraki area, with local and regional meetings in most areas.

Our vision is to provide "Support Services" for families and friends living with Mental Illness.

We are people who are living with mental illness and understand the pressures this creates.

We are experts in our own field and have found ways to empower ourselves and improve the quality and enjoyment of our lives even through very difficult tim
We understand how unpredictable living with mental illness can be and know that recovery is a lifelong process. Sometimes manageable, sometimes totally out of control, but always there.
We have often felt isolated, discounted, angry and frustrated within a health system not designed to include families and friends and have worked for many hours to open the eyes of health professionals and the public. Most importantly we found others in the same position and joined together to give each other mutual support and provide a place for all who find themselves in similar situations to come to.

We hope you enjoy our stories: they are straight from the heart. We hope you take from them the courage and hope we have found in our journeys and may it help you to understand that you are not alone.
