BEHAVIOUR
1. VIOLENT OR AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR
A. Person will be asked to leave
NO EXCEPTIONS.
B. Police will be called to remove person if necessary.
2. BE RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS USING THE CENTRE
A. Refrain from using sexist or bad language.
B. Show respect for other peoples cultural, ethnic or religious beliefs.
C. Allow others their space or quiet time should they request this.
3. SHOW RESPECT FOR THE PROPERTY
A. Clean tip your own mess
B. Do not intentionally damage any furnishings or chattels at the Support
Centre.
4. NO ILLEGAL DRUGS, ALCOHOL OR GAMBLING
A. All persons using the centre to be sober and not under influence illegal
substances.
B. No illegal substances or alcohol to be consumed on the premises.
C. No gambling on the premises
5. BRING YOUR OWN SMOKES
A. Bring your own smokes at all times.
B. Do not bludge smokes as this often offends others using the centre.
C. Put all butts in bins provided.
6. DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR
A. Any person that is behaving in a disruptive manner will be given a
verbal warning.
B. If behaviour continues they will be given a further verbal warning.
C. This will be followed by a written warning from the committee
D. If the person chooses to ignore the warnings they will be asked to
refrain from attending the centre.
THIS CODE OF BEHAVIOUR IS NECESSARY FOR THE SMOOTH RUNNING
OF THE SUPPORT CENTRE AND FOR THE SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE WHO USE IT. ANY
MATTERS REGARDING THIS CODE OF BEHAVIOUR TO BE DISCUSSED WITH FIRSTLY
THE CO-ORDINATOR AND IF NOT RESOLVED WILL BE REFERRED TO THE COMMITTEE.
